Maniva achieves gender equality certification

Bagolino (BS), 11 November 2024.

The DNV certifying authority has ratified the internal process of Maniva Spa that has led to the achievement of the UNI/PDR 125:2022 certification regarding the promotion of concrete initiatives aimed at gender equality.

The Maniva company, a mineral water producer active since 1998 in the Alpi Retiche of Brescia and with two production plants located in Lombardy and Tuscany, has been researching, promoting and implementing for years the most effective policies to guarantee equal opportunities and fair treatment for all its more than seventy employees.

This is an important and significant certification that represents a reversal in the current narrative of the Italian manufacturing industry and that Maniva is developing through a company strategic plan that envisages the adoption of policies and operational tools, in accordance with the best practices on gender equality, that aim to favour female employment, equal opportunities in access to work, equal income, inclusion and wellbeing of employees.

Practices such as hourly flexibility, part-time contracts and smart working, guarantees for equal opportunities in the recruitment and professional development of each worker, and specific training programmes on diversity and inclusion and awareness of gender equality issues are active in Maniva establishments.

This certification is part of the path of sustainability and corporate social responsibility that Maniva has prepared in recent years and that sees, among its priorities, a commitment to protecting the environment, as well as activities to promote and support the communities and territories to which it belongs. A path that will soon lead to the adoption of the sustainability report.
